Katie O’Flynn, MCIPD, MSc HRM
After years in the boardroom as a senior leader across education and business sectors internationally, Katie decided it was time to shake things up. She founded EmpoweredHR with a simple belief: organizations thrive when their people do.
Katie’s approach is refreshingly straightforward—she cuts through the HR jargon to deliver what actually works. Whether you’re a startup finding your feet or an established company tackling new challenges, her team brings practical solutions tailored to your unique culture and needs.
What sets Katie apart? She’s been in your shoes. Having navigated leadership roles across diverse industries and cultures throughout APAC and the Middle East, she understands the real-world pressures of building teams that perform while creating workplaces where people genuinely want to be.
Beyond her strategic HR expertise and talent for spotting the right people, Katie brings specialized credentials to the table. As a certified DiSC practitioner, she helps teams understand their dynamics and work more effectively together. Her training as a Mental Health First Aider means wellbeing isn’t just a buzzword—it’s built into everything she does, and as an accredited mentor-coach, she’s passionate about developing leaders who can carry positive workplace cultures forward.
